Nearly 52% of Utahn over the age of 12 are fully vaccinated against COVID-19

The Utah Department of Health reports that nearly 52% of Utah over the age of 12 are completely vaccinated against COVID-19.
Nearly 42% of the state has been fully vaccinated, with 7,019 vaccines reported since the count on June 18, and 290 new cases of the virus reported since Friday.
Vaccine dose given in the last day / total dose given • 7,019 / 2,782,173.
Fully vaccinated Utahns • 1,340,119.
Cases reported in the last day • 290.
Deaths reported in the last day • The second is a man from Salt Lake County aged 25-44 and a man from Iron County aged 45-64.
Tests reported in the last day • 3,186 people were tested for the first time. A total of 5,618 people were tested.
Hospitalizations reported in the last day • 168. It’s two less on Friday.. Of the patients currently hospitalized, 69 are in the intensive care unit, three more than on Friday.
Percentage of positive tests • According to the state-specific method, the percentage is 9.2%. This is higher than the 7-day average of 7.8%.
The state’s new method counts all test results, including repeated tests for the same individual. Saturday’s rate was 5.2%, slightly higher than the 7-day average of 5.0%.
