The Mayor of Atlanta issues an order requesting the use of masks in all indoor public spaces – Decalish
Atlanta, GA — The city of Atlanta is stepping up its efforts to mitigate COVID in light of the surge in COVID-19 cases caused by Delta variants and unvaccinated people.
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms has issued an executive order. As of July 28, everyone in public places, including private businesses and businesses, must wear a mask or cloth face that covers their nose and mouth indoors.

“Public health experts overwhelmingly agreed, and the data proved that wearing a face cover helps slow the spread of this deadly virus,” said Mayor Bottoms. “As the prevalence of COVID-19 increases, we need to be vigilant, wear masks, and follow CDC guidelines and other measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our communities.”
