Ashish Jha warns of a surge in COVID deaths

According to Dr. Ahish Jha, if COVID-19 mortality continues at its current pace, as many as 1,700 Americans could die each day by the end of August.
Jha, Dean of the Department of Public Health at Brown University, wrote on Twitter that COVID mortality has more than doubled in the past month. He said 500 people died on August 7 from the 30,000 cases identified a few weeks ago. The ratio is 1.6%.

The COVID-19 surge is primarily caused by the Delta variant and is also felt in children under the age of 12. According to him, the best thing is to make sure that adults in life are vaccinated.
