Hospitalization in Quebec surges as new COVID-19 case load exceeds 360
Quebec reported 369 new cases, COVID-19 (New Coronavirus Infection) Pandemic on Thursday in the midst of an increase in infectious diseases.
Health Minister Christian Dubé participated in social media for the second consecutive day, with more than 300 cases per day in the state.
“The fourth wave is clearly in Quebec,” he writes. “Remember that the virus is still circulating, and that vaccination is our best weapon in the fight against the virus.”
The number of hospitalizations related to the new coronavirus also increased for the third consecutive day. There are an additional 14 patients, for a total of 81.
This included 28 people in the intensive care unit, an increase of 6 people in the last 24 hours.

Since the last report, the development of immunization has given the state an additional 44,137 doses of vaccine. To date, more than 11.6 million shots have been taken in Quebec.
Duvet said he was “very happy” to see more people enrolling in the first dose of the vaccine. On Wednesday’s first shot, about 9,000 Quebec people rolled up their sleeves.
