Studies suggest that this one vitamin can protect against Alzheimer’s disease
Scientifically, patients with this condition are said to have a protein in their brain known as amyloid beta. It has a toxic effect on neurons and seems to interfere with cell-cell communication.
The researcher is C. elegans, a worm that lives in small soils, was used in the study. Accumulation of amyloid beta in these small insects is thought to cause paralysis within 36 hours of adulthood. This is the effect observed when you stop wiggle.

“When I gave vitamin B12 to a worm that was deficient in vitamin B12, the paralysis occurred much more slowly, and I soon found that B12 was beneficial.
“Worms with B12 also had higher intracellular energy levels and lower oxidative stress,” she added.
