“Of course, the challenge is duplication of symptoms,” said Dr. David Hooper, Head of Infection Control Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. “COVID and flu symptoms can be virtually the same. We are now people with respiratory symptoms on a daily basis and we are testing both,” he said.
Things were so busy at Natick’s walk-in clinic on Wednesday that people couldn’t get regular inspections. “They said it was backed up there,” said John Restusia of Mendon. “They said they didn’t know when I could get my body.”
