BILLINGS, Mon. -Two additional COVID-19 related deaths reported on Friday are directly related to the outbreak in the Canyon Creek memory care community. A man in his 90s died at a local hospital and a second man in his 80s died at Canyon Creek.
Most of Canyon Creek’s staff are testing positive for viruses. Staff members have taken care of the residents of the facility, but they need help. There are members of the Billings Clinic and Montana National Guard intervening.
Jim Duncan, chairman of the Billings Clinic Foundation, said: “Our first goal as an organization is to step up and provide additional staff for the next 72 hours.
