Economic impact of USA Cycling on Knoxville
Knoxville, Tennessee (Wate) — 2023 USA Cycling returns to Knoxville for its final year. The event draws spectators and competitors to the city and generates a large amount of revenue.
“It had a huge impact on the city. I’ve had it for seven years and ran six races,” said Kim Bumpass, president of Visit Knoxville. “In those seven years, we probably made him $35 million in economic impact.”
