Stepping up the fight against influenza for free – Logan City Council
All Logan City residents six months of age and older, including those without a Medicare card, are eligible for a free flu vaccination.
Logan City Council will be offering vaccinations from April as part of the Queensland Government's 2024 Free Flu Program.
Vaccination remains one of the most effective strategies in reducing the spread of influenza-related illness and hospitalizations.
Six special community flu clinics will be held at various locations and times throughout the city of Logan to ensure as many people as possible receive the free vaccine.
Monday, April 22nd:
- Beenley: Your Lifestyle Center (20 Alamein St), 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Shayler Park: Hyperdome Library (66-70 Mandew St), 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, April 24th:
- Green Bank: Greenbank Community Center (145-167 Teviot Rd), 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.;
- Logan Village: Logan Village Community Center (24-32 Wharf St), noon to 2 p.m.
Friday, April 26th:
- Hillcrest: Logan West Community Center (2 Wineglass Dr), 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.;
- Under the tree: Logan North Library (Cnr Sports Dr and Springwood Rd), noon to 2 p.m.
These clinics are in addition to the council's weekly community clinics, and you will also receive a free flu vaccine.
