Every week, Rebecca Kapurula, a community health worker based at Chilenka Health Center in central Lilongwe district, Malawistraps a cooler full of vaccines to the back of his bike and heads to another village to vaccinate children against malaria.

Children who are vaccinated against malaria are less likely to get malaria or have milder symptoms if they do get it. Since the vaccine became available, Caprula says she has seen many positive changes in the communities she serves. watch video
