“Since my grandson Joseph was born, he was like my shining light and worked to make sure I was here to see him born,” she said.
The cane is currently cancer-free and is about to reach the 5-year survival benchmark.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network considers pancreatic cancer to be the most severe cancer in the world, with a 5-year survival rate of only 10%.
