Escambia Health Department: NorthEscambia.com Offers COVID-19 Vaccine Reservation for Residents 65+
The Escambia County Health Department now has an online form for people over the age of 65 to request an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Florida Department of Health in Escanbia County has participated in COVID-19 vaccination efforts that prioritize moderna vaccination for healthcare providers at high risk of COVID-19 exposure and those over the age of 65. Is one of the counties.
FDOH-Escambia was vaccinated with 2,500 Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. A total of 840 doses were provided to community partners for dosing or were given at the FDOH-Escanbia Clinic.
FDOH-Escambia continues to coordinate vaccination with local health care providers and independent living facilities. Clinic reservations are also available to healthcare professionals and residents of Escambia County over the age of 65.

The form only requests a name and phone number. The health department has not disclosed when to contact interested individuals over the age of 65 or how to request an appointment without internet access.
