62,318 vaccine dose increases, 69 deaths, 3,328 new cases
New cases of COVID-19 reached 3,328 on Thursday, killing 69 people. The state has achieved a milestone of more than one million inhabitants receiving a single life-saving virus vaccine.
As of Thursday, 1,028,034 Illinois were vaccinated once, close to 1 in 12 residents, according to IDPH data.

The state positive rate for COVID-19 cases is 3.4% based on a 7-day average.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,137,559 and 19,444 Illinois have died throughout the state.
