The dentist’s office has taken several other steps, such as disinfecting masks with UV light and adding air purifiers to all labs. No one on the team has a COVID, and Dr. Wall said everyone was vaccinated. The CDC said cleaning the surface with soap or detergent is sufficient to mitigate the risk in most situations.
