A toddler in Melbourne was on the verge of losing his leg after suffering a carnivorous infection with streptococcus A.
Eden Omera was only 11 months old when she was suffering from a cold attack that lasted about a month.
The child had a fever and was taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with the bacteria affecting his limbs.
“It was obviously a very scary bug because it was a very dangerous bug that broke into the system right away,” said Eden’s mother, Tania. 7 news..
Fortunately, the doctor was able to save her leg, but the young man’s right calf was hurt.
