Wales government U-turn Wales to inspect at nursing home
The Welsh government today announced that all residents and staff of care homes with outbreaks of coronavirus will be screened for viruses.
U-Turns are made in accordance with current scientific evidence showing that care facility testing needs to be extended to control outbreaks.

On Tuesday, the NHS in England changed its policy and began testing all residents and staff within its care home environment, but the Wales government initially did not follow.
Today, the Welsh opposition welcomed the announcement after calling on the Welsh government to increase testing, especially for all residents of nursing homes.

The Welsh government said it is conducting a three-step test and a rapid response plan to help treat coronaviruses that combine testing with environmental and hygiene support measures.
