44% of the target population is vaccinated with COVID-19 in Montana
Montana reported 75 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the total number of active confirmed reports in the state to 630.
According to the state website covid19.mt.gov, 110,325 people have recovered from the virus, a total of 1,636 people have died and 60 people are actively hospitalized.
The state has tested 1,403,464 coronaviruses, 2,994 more than Tuesday.
The first case of COVID-19 in Montana was reported on March 11, 2020.
To date, a total of 803,078 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered. 405,648 inhabitants are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Currently, 44% of Montana’s eligible population is fully vaccinated.
Ten new cases were reported in Cascade County. There are currently 81 infected, 9,072 recoverers and 184 dead in the county. The county currently has 39% of its eligible population vaccinated.
Yellowstone County leads the state in active cases, with a total of 128 new reports of active cases after adding 12 new cases on Wednesday. Missoula County reports 10 new cases. There were 56 valid reports across the county. Gallatin County reported seven new cases, for a total of 32 active cases.
Flathead County has the second highest number of active cases in the state with 102 reports after six new cases were added on Wednesday. Park County has added four new active cases. In some counties, three new active cases have been added, including Beaverhead County, Jefferson County, Musselshell County, and Ravalli County. Two new active cases have been added in Carbon County, Hill County, and Powell County, respectively. One new active case has been added in several counties, including Big Horn County, Brain County, Lake County, Lincoln County, Richland County, and Roosevelt County.
