South Carolina earthquake strikes Elgin again at M2.4

ELGIN, South Carolina – The land in and around the community of Elgin in Kershaw County felt another noise.

At 2:11 p.m., the earthquake shook the area of ​​Fort Jackson and Kennedy Road and north of Haig Creek. The magnitude of this earthquake was reportedly between 2.36 and 2.4 – slightly smaller than the one reported after 7 am on the same day.
