Ebola vaccination campaign launched in Democratic Republic of the Congo to counter new outbreaks
GENEVA — An Ebola vaccination campaign has been launched in the Northwestern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to prevent the spread of deadly new outbreaks in countries where the disease is endemic.
The United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) said on Wednesday that people are currently being vaccinated in Mbandaka, the capital of the western state of Equator.
