Canoga Park, CA – A small earthquake shook Canoga Park early Monday morning.

The 2.6-magnitude earthquake struck around 7:35 a.m. Monday, causing some light to rattle most of the San Fernando Valley and some Los Angeles, according to the US Geological Survey.

The US Geological Survey reported that the epicenter was near the intersection of Sherman Road and Independence Street. It can be felt from Simi Valley in the north to Santa Monica in the south, and from Westlake Village in the west to Hollywood in the east, according to the USGS.
