Jokowi begins Indonesia tour and flies to Lampung this morning

The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), began his visit to Indonesia. This morning, Jokowi will visit Lampung.
Monitoring detikJatengJokowi arrived at Adi Soemarmo Airport around 06:10 WIB. When getting out of the car, Jokowi was seen wearing a white shirt with the PSI logo on his right chest and a hat with the PSI logo.
“(How do you prepare, sir?) Yes, just be ready,” Jokowi said when met by reporters at Adi Soemarmo Airport, Friday (26/6/2026).

Jokowi admitted that there were several agendas in Lampung. He admitted that he would stay in Lampung for three days.
“The assessment of the event has been made, both by the volunteers and by the PSI, everything is already packed. (Three days in Lampung?) Yes,” he concluded.
As previously reported, Jokowi will go on a working safari to Indonesia once his health has recovered to 100 percent. Lampung provinces in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) would be the first destinations he will visit.
“Maybe, Lampung, NTT, West Java,” Jokowi said when asked about the areas he would visit during his Indonesia tour, Monday (25/5/2026).
Jokowi explained that the travel plans to various regions were carried out in order to respond to the numerous invitations coming directly from the community. He confirmed that he is currently fit to return to the field.
“Yes, I have received many invitations from the regions to attend from the community. Yes, I am healthy and I will respond to existing invitations. Yes, I am ready. God willing, I am ready,” he said.

Jokowi would begin a visit to Indonesia from June 26 to 28, 2026 in Lampung. This was stated by General Chairman of the Indonesian People’s Brigade Volunteers (BRN), Relly Ragen, after meeting with Jokowi.
Regan revealed that preparations to welcome the arrival of the President of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2014-2024 were almost completed.
“The preparations are now complete. The permits are in place, the location is ready. Yes, 80 percent of the preparations are in Lampung,” said Regan during an interview at Jokowi’s residence in Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo City, Monday (15/6/2026).
