LA County reports about 3,000 new cases of coronavirus, 57 more deaths – Daily News
Fifty-seven residents of the Los Angeles county died from coronavirus-related causes, officials said on Saturday, July 11, reaching 3,793 deaths in the county.
Authorities also announced 2,916 new cases of coronavirus. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 130,242 confirmed cases in the county.
A hospital with COVID-19, a disease caused by the coronavirus, was admitted to more than 2,000 people more than a month ago, 1,350 to 1,450 people a day ago a month ago. About 27% of people hospitalized on Saturday were in the ICU and 18% were on ventilators.
