Jakarta – The Selection Committee (Pansel) announced and submitted the names of 10 candidates for leadership and 10 candidates for the supervisory board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for the period 2024-2029 to President Joko Widodo, Tuesday (01/10/2024).
These names were declared to have successfully passed the selection and physical and spiritual health tests that took place some time ago.
“The Selection Committee for Leadership Candidates and the Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission for the 2024-2029 term determined 10 (ten) leadership candidates and 10 (ten) members of the Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission for the period 2024-2029, as indicated in the annex to this announcement (based on the “alphabetical order of the names of the participants)”, explained Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, chairman of the select committee, making a statement to the media, Tuesday (01/10/2024) at the Secretariat of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Central Jakarta
Furthermore, Ateh said that the determination of leadership candidates and candidates for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) was carried out taking into account the results of all selection stages and that the decision of the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) selection cannot be contested.
Next, President Jokowi will send the names of 10 Capim candidates and 10 KPK Dewas candidates to the House of Representatives to take the fit and proper test. After that, 5 (five) KPK leaders and 5 (five) members of the KPK Supervisory Board will be selected for appointment by the President.
