Jokowi and Ridwan Kamil meet in Central Jakarta, Suswono is not visible

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Deputy governor candidate number 1 Suswono did not appear to be present at the meeting of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia with Ridwan Kamil, Monday (11/18/2024).
Observation Kompas.comRidwan Kamil arrived first at the meeting location, namely at a restaurant in Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta.
Wearing a jacket with the Monas logo and the words RIDO, the man known as Kang Emil arrived around 6:59 p.m. WIB.
Besides Kang Emil, a number of figures from the political party supporting RK-Suswono were also seen. DKI Jakarta regional electionincluding Chairman of DPD Gerindra Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria, Chairman of DPD Golkar Jakarta Ahmed Zaki Iskandar, Chairman of DPW NasDem Jakarta, Wibi Andrino and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), Grace Nathalie.

Also present were Gerindra politicians and Prabowo Mania volunteer president Immanuel Ebenezer, Ahmad Dhani and Raffi Ahmad.
As of 20.08 WIB, Suswono did not appear to have attended the meeting. There has been no official statement from the blockbuster team regarding Suwono's absence.
Jokowi himself arrived around 7:37 p.m. WIB. Jokowi appeared to be present wearing a white shirt with long rolled-up sleeves.
A number of RK-Suswono supporters immediately welcomed Jokowi's arrival.
“Jokowi, Jokowi, Jokowi,” shouted the party officials and the gathered residents.
Jokowi appeared to have difficulty walking to his seat due to the dense number of cadres gathered. After struggling to make his way through the crowd, Jokowi sat alongside Ridwan Kamil and Ahmad Riza Patria.
Previously, Kang Emil said his meeting with Jokowi this evening was to determine the direction.

The former West Java governor hopes his meeting with Jokowi can further strengthen him to win a run in the 2024 Jakarta legislative elections.
“Yes, it will be more or less planned (around 20:00 WIB), but it can definitely move forward or backward,” he said.
“I don’t know yet (who will be present), I am also invited,” he continued.
