INILAMPUNGCOM – Former Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is expected to undertake a “political safari” in Lampung province from Friday, June 26, 2026 to Sunday, June 28, 2026 evening.

What were the activities of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka’s father while he was in Lampung? Here is a preview of the events Jokowi will host:

1. Friday June 26, 2026:

A. At 08:30 WIB arrived at Radin Inten II Airport, Natar, South Lampung.

b. Go directly to the coordination meeting location of the Indonesian Mesuji Solidarity Party (PSI) in Wira Bangun. Take the Tegineneng – Simpang Pematang toll road.

c. From 10:30 to 11:30 WIB gave national guidance at the PSI coordination meeting attended by 1,162 people from DPP, DPW and DPD PSI throughout Lampung.

d. 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. WIB Friday prayers at Baitul Amal Grand Mosque, Wira Bangun, Mesuji. Followed by lunch at Unit II Market, Tulang Bawang.

e. From 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. WIB attended the PSI Tulang Bawang coordination meeting and greeted the cadres.

f. From 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. WIB, take part in the Carnival Cultural Parade: Elephant Carnival. Departure from Jalan Ethanol Field towards Jalan Lintas Sumatra (approximately 600 meters). Jokowi wears traditional Lampung clothing. Nearly 3,000 people attended the event.

g. 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. WIB, travel to Radisson Hotel Bandarlampung.

2. Saturday June 27, 2026:

A. 08:00 to 10:00 WIB Event at Kedaton Keagungan, Sepang City, Way Halim, Bandarlampung. Meeting with traditional chiefs. Jokowi received traditional titles from 5 kingdoms.

b. From 10:00 to 11:00 WIB attended the Bandarlampung PSI coordination meeting at Wisma Rimbawan, Jln. Prince Diponegoro, Telukbetung.

c. From 11:00 to 12:00 WIB, go to the Transmigration Museum in Gedong Tataan, Pesawaran, and greet the people of Bagelen Village.

d. 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. WIB at the Transmigration Museum. Greeting the community, 9 village chiefs and PSI executives.

e. 1:00 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. WIB travel to UMKM Mallosewu, Pringsewu regency. Visit to UMKM Mallosewu and meeting with around 500 UMKM personalities and local communities.

f. 2:10 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. WIB return to Radisson Hotel Bandarlampung. Followed by friendly relations with key administrators of DPW and DPD PSI throughout Lampung at Kopi Nako Café, opposite Radisson Hotel on Jln. Sultan Agung, Way Halim, Bandarlampung. At this event, 30 people from Jokowi and Kaesang volunteer organizations were also present.

3. Sunday June 28, 2026:

A. At 07:30 WIB, departure to East Lampung. Jokowi wears traditional Lampung clothing.

b. 09:00 to 10:00 WIB attend the cultural carnival in Pugung Raharjo. Around 5,000 people participated, including Cultural Defense Volunteers, traditional leaders and the community.

c. 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. WIB meeting with MSMEs and distribution of basic necessities in front of the Gajah town market.

d. At 11:30 WIB at Nurul Qodiri Islamic Boarding School in Lempuyang, Bandar Jaya, Central Lampung. Meeting with 1000 students from Islamic and Kiyai boarding schools throughout central Lampung.

e. 13:00 WIB at Radin Inten II Airport. Jokowi left Bumi Lampung on a Citilink plane at 7:05 p.m. WIB. (zal/inilampung)
