Jimmy Kimmel donates a meal to homeless families for each meal ordered at the APL Hollywood restaurant – CBS Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) Jimmy Kimmel and chef Adam Perry Lang have joined the St. Joseph Center to help feed homeless families during the COVID-19 pandemic while supporting a local restaurant in Hollywood.
The television host called on Lang’s APL restaurant in Hollywood to help restaurant workers keep their jobs while feeding homeless families.
Kimmel announced on his Instagram that “starting today and everyday, for each meal you buy at the APL restaurant in Hollywood, Adam Perry Lang and I will give another one to feed homeless families via St. Joseph Center – order now for curbside pickup or delivery by Postmates and Grubhub #buyonegiveone. “
The St. Joseph Center, one of Los Angeles’ main providers of homelessness, will distribute meals to families living in shelters and temporary housing.
“The work of the St. Joseph Center is inspiring and important and it is our privilege to be able to help feed the homeless families of Los Angeles,” said Kimmel.
The St. Joseph Center is one of the region’s largest providers of services for low-income and homeless individuals and families, serving more than 10,000 people a year.
