Four new cases of COVID-19 reported in Nova Scotia on Sunday-Halifax
Nova Scotia reported four new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, stating that 88 active cases remain in the state.
According to the state, all new cases are in the central zone. Three cases are under investigation. One case is related to a trip outside the Atlantic Canada, where the person is self-quarantined as needed.

“We are pleased to see the number of new cases diminish this weekend, reflecting Nova Scotia’s commitment to follow public health measures and play their role in delaying the spread of COVID-19.” Said Prime Minister Stephen McNeil in a press release.
“I know it’s difficult to stay away from family and friends, but I want to encourage everyone to stay vigilant and continue to contain the virus,” he added.
Health officials said the Nova Scotia Health Department’s laboratory completed 1,171 tests on December 5.
On Saturday, 394 tests were conducted on Halifax’s rapid test pop-up site.

“There were no positive test results confirmed in the field,” health officials said.
Nova Scotia states that it has completed 75,833 tests since October 1. There are 279 COVID-19-positive cases and no deaths.
Currently, no one is hospitalized. Currently, 191 cases have been resolved.

Dr. Robert Strang, director of health at Nova Scotia, said: “I know things are better than they were a few days ago. This is good news, but COVID-19 is still here.
