This time around, Ye sat down with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee. Ahead of the full release, clips were shared with empowering comments from the donda artist on a recent paparazzi incident (which he clarified did indeed involve a paparazzo and not “a fan” as previously claimed) and how the reasoning behind his recent home purchase near Kim Kardashian has been misinterpreted.
Lately, music updates related to Ye have largely focused on people he has been photographed and/or filmed with in the studio for the past few days. Fans were quick to point out the appearance of Big Sean, whose connection to Ye (and others) was notable due to his appearance shortly after a certain Drink champions controversial. Sean is mentioned in the recently posted Lee discussion, with Ye vaguely echoing what he previously said about Detroit 2 artist.
Donald Trump, John Legend, Ice Cube, Jesus Christ, Bernie Sanders, etc. are also mentioned during Lee and Ye’s conversation. Bringing up Sanders during a larger discussion of political issues, Ye referenced Cardi B’s co-signer. “Bernie met Cardi but didn’t want to meet me,” he said at around 11:29 a.m.
