Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf demands medical examination of Bushra Bibi at Shaukat Khanum Hospital

Islamabad [Pakistan]April 7 (ANI): The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded that Bushra Bibi, the wife of incarcerated party founder Imran Khan, be examined by doctors at Shaukat Khanum Hospital, founded by him, according to ARY News. Notably, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said on Saturday that he would only accept medical reports issued by a personal doctor, demanding an examination at Shaukat Khanum Hospital. The request was made two days after the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) released a medical report in which it said there was no evidence that Bushra Bibi was given poison at the sub-jail from Bani Gala.

Following a medical examination of Imran Khan's wife by four renowned doctors, the medical report was made public. The report states that Bushra Bibi's appetite is not normal and she is suffering from stomach pain. Dr Asim Yousuf, the personal physician of PTI founder Imran Khan, however, also medically examined the former first lady and found no signs of poisoning. According to ARY News report. Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is now in jail, on Tuesday claimed that his wife was poisoned at Bani Gala sub-jail. The shocking revelations were made by the former prime minister at the hearing in a £190 million settlement case at Adiala Prison in Rawalpindi.
