The Chinese Ambassador made the statement when donating a solar power project for the central office and post offices of eight counties of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

According to the Chinese ambassador, the solar power project donation is an important achievement of practical cooperation between China and Liberia.

Also speaking, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Sekou M. Kromah commended the Chinese government through its embassy near Monrovia for its continued support for the development of the postal and telecommunications sectors.

According to the minister, the solar energy project started in 2023 with the installation of solar panels in seven rural post offices.
