Southpac beckons packers from near and far

Preparations for SouthPack 2024 are underway and expectations are high among attendees and exhibitors alike. SouthPack is part of IME South, a six-part trade show taking place June 4-6 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

IME is the South's largest annual design and manufacturing event. Co-located shows with IME South are ATX South, D&M South, MD&M South, Plastec South, Powder & Bulk Solids South, and SouthPack.

The expo will get off to a festive start with a welcome reception on June 4 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The reception will feature more than 50 interactive experiences, including race car driving and pit crew challenges in the iRacing simulator.

The first workforce development reception will be held the day after the expo. The event will be held following a panel discussion with participants from women in manufacturing.
