Jokowi works in Yogyakarta when PDIP holds national working meeting today
JAKARTA, COMPASS TV – President Joko Widodo or Jokowi works in the Yogyakarta Special Region today Friday (24/5/2024).
It is known that on the same day, the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) held a national working meeting (Rakernas) and did not invite President Jokowi to the agenda.
“(President Jokowi) has internal activities at Jogja Palace,” Acting Deputy for Protocol and Press Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana told reporters, Friday (24/5/2024).

Previously, Secretary General (Sekjen) of the DPP PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto said that the guests at the 5th National Working Meeting (Rakernas) were those who maintain legal democracy and want to uphold the law.
Hasto highlighted this in response to media questions regarding the news that Indonesian President Joko Widodo or Jokowi was not invited to the V PDIP national working meeting in the Ancol area, North Jakarta, from May 24 to 26, 2024.

“And in that spirit, those who are certainly invited are those who have the spirit of maintaining legal democracy. Upholding the rule of law, defending democracy with the sovereignty of the people,” Hasto told DPP PDIP, Central Jakarta on Wednesday (22/5/2024).
