Elshinta.com – President Joko Widodo accompanied by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto sailed on board the KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat of the Maritime Military Command Headquarters (Kolinlamil), Jakarta, Saturday. The cruise lasts approximately 2 hours sailed the high seas after Jokowi received the Kencana Shark Brevet which was awarded directly by TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto.
During the cruise, Jokowi had a dialogue with the families of Indonesian navy soldiers. The President also observed veil pass in the form of actions shown by Indonesian Navy soldiers on the high seas by displaying a number of sea and air fleets that constitute the strength of the Indonesian Navy.
Joko Widodo appeared to smile proudly at the actions of Indonesian navy soldiers. The ships carrying the Indonesian navy soldiers then fired blanks. An Indonesian navy helicopter was also seen landing on the ship until Indonesian navy soldiers jumped from the plane into the middle of the sea using parachutes.
Previously, President Joko Widodo was awarded the Hiu Kencana Brevet, which also marked the moment of Jokowi's appointment as an honorary citizen of the Indonesian Navy. Brevet Hiu Kencana was directly pinned by TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto to President Joko Widodo on the right side of the chest which took place on board the KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat (RJW-992).
