Recognition of YAF Chapter of the Month Recipients for Spring 2026

January – University of South Alabama (YAF)

The University of South Alabama (USA YAF) YAF Chapter has been named the January 2026 YAF Chapter of the Month.

In the United States, Planned Parenthood Generation Action organized a crude, university-sanctioned “sexual health bingo” night, handing out sex toys to winners. USA YAF infiltrated the event, recording questions asked and creating a social media campaign exposing the event.

When participants realized that YAF members were present, the leftists threatened to “beat them up” if they were to win. They then followed the YAFers to their cars in an attempt to intimidate the chapter members.

Undeterred, USA YAF counter-protested the Socialism and Liberation Party’s anti-ICE protests on campus, which, the chapter notes, “several classes were postponed or canceled to allow students and faculty to join the protest.” The section handed out “Ice Ice Baby” and “Anti-Socialism Social Club” stickers to the crowd of protesters. They also took advantage of another social media campaign, highlighting the lives of Americans who are victims of illegal immigrants.

February – Modesto Junior College YAF

The Modesto Junior College YAF Chapter (MJC YAF) has been named YAF Chapter of the Month for February 2026.

Although the university administration blocked MJC YAF from gaining school approval, the chapter led by Madeline Iwasyk still found a way to make an impact on campus throughout the month of February.

Using flyer-bombing tactics alongside the depot, the MJC YAF quickly gained notoriety among their peers, initiating protests against their club by the “Pirates for Peace”, a club formed solely to protest the YAF chapter on campus.

The chapter placed flyers reading “Men Don’t Become in Women’s Restrooms,” “All Illegal Immigrants Are Criminals,” and “The Left is Violent” throughout campus, along with examples of Americans killed by illegal immigrants. Attempts by the left to discourage the MJC YAF were in vain, as the chapter doubled in pro-life activism by the end of the month.

“Those who came before us in the conservative movement fought to protect and preserve traditional American identity and values,” said MJC YAF President Madeline Iwasyk. “It is now up to our generation to continue the fight for the values ​​we believe in! It is only right to give everything to the conservative movement for the sake of freedom for the next generations to come.”

March – University of Wisconsin-Madison YAF

The University of Wisconsin-Madison YAF Chapter (Wisconsin YAF) has been named YAF Chapter of the Month for March 2026.

The Wisconsin YAF marked its month with a milestone event featuring former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in front of a standing-room-only crowd, even having to turn away hundreds more once capacity was reached.

The chapter spent countless hours advertising by dropping off, distributing flyers, and mass emailing students on their campus. Their work paid off and the impact they made with an event of this caliber is an example for YAF chapters across the country.

The chapter also hosted Wisconsin Congressman Tony Wied and participated in the Pro-Life Timeline in March, capping a great month of activism.

Vice President Ben Rothove said, “It was an incredible honor to welcome former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The conference was a huge success and we had to turn away hundreds of people after the room filled up within minutes. It capped a year of incredible activism and speaker events that had an unparalleled impact on our campus.”

April – Harding University YAF

The Harding University YAF Chapter has been named the April 2026 YAF Chapter of the Month.

During their first year on campus, Harding YAF grew their club significantly. Their work paid off in April with an incredible event featuring Steve Forbes.

The chapter encountered venue issues shortly before the event, prompting them to give their talk in the school cafeteria. They worked brilliantly with the school business department to secure funding for the participants’ dinner.

Using flyers, presentations and other publicity tactics, the chapter worked tirelessly to ensure a fantastic audience would join the Forbes conference.

Harding YAF’s work paid off: approximately 300 students and staff attended the event, making it one of the most impactful events on campus this year.

“Our chapter really rallied around this event. Despite the complications and short notice, our chapter members this spring came together and gave it their all to put on a great event for the student body welcoming Steve Forbes,” said Nathan Thomas, Harding YAF president.
