Donald Trump asks Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Pakistan to rejoin Abraham Accords as part of Iran deal

US President Donald Trump on Monday “obligatoryly” demanded that all countries involved in negotiations with Iran sign the Abraham Accords.

“By copying this TRUTH, I am directing my representatives to begin and complete the process of signing these countries into the already historic Abraham Accords,” Trump posted on his Truth Social account.

The request targeted Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and Pakistan, with Trump emphasizing that the other countries involved were already parties to the agreements.

“It should be mandatory that all of these countries, at a minimum, sign the Abraham Accords simultaneously,” Trump said.

“It’s possible that one or two of them will have a reason not to do it,” he continued, “but most should be ready, willing and able to make this deal with Iran much more historic than it would otherwise be.”

President Trump further noted that Iran’s joining the accords would be an “honor,” with countries involved in the negotiations sharing this sentiment.

“They would be honored, as soon as our document is signed, to see the Islamic Republic of Iran be part of the Abraham Accords,” Trump said. “Wow, that would be something special!”

Trump said negotiations with Iran were “going well,” describing them as a “complex puzzle.”

He stressed that the United States would either reach a “big deal” or “no deal,” in which case the United States would go “back to the front and fire, but bigger and stronger than ever.”
