Ready to travel to Indonesia, Jokowi: I was invited by many people
The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) confirmed that he will visit Indonesia soon.
The former governor of DKI Jakarta said that his travel program to Indonesia was only to greet and listen to the aspirations of the people.
He said that currently he has received many invitations from various regions to directly deal with the community.

“Yes, I received many invitations from the regions to attend,” Jokowi said as reported on Tuesday (26/5/2026).
Jokowi’s blusukan program was first revealed by his volunteer group Pro Jokowi (Projo) and the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). Jokowi is expected to return to Indonesia after confirming that his health is starting to improve.
Jokowi himself confirmed his current condition, saying he was in good enough condition to travel to Indonesia again.
“Yes, I am in good health and I will respond to invitations,” he said.
Asked about the political agenda behind the safari he undertook, Jokowi was reluctant to provide a lengthy explanation. Essentially, he said, during visits to the areas, he would motivate the community.
“Because there was an invitation from the region,” Jokowi briefly emphasized.
Jokowi also confirmed that his condition has now fully recovered and he is ready to fully resume activities.
“Yes, that’s it, that’s it. Responding to regional invitations means that’s it, that’s it. Yes, it’s ready. God willing, it’s ready,” Jokowi said full of optimism.
When reporters confirmed again whether his current state was truly 100 percent fit, Jokowi responded in a relaxed and pleasant tone.
