BJP launches campaign in Gujarat to celebrate PM Modi’s 12th birthday
The Bharatiya Janata Party is set to launch a large-scale public awareness campaign across Gujarat to mark 12 years of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister.
Announcing the initiative, Gujarat BJP chief spokesperson Dr Anil Patel said the campaign would run from June 5 to 21 and would focus on highlighting the Centre’s development work, social initiatives and governance achievements over the last decade.
The campaign will revolve around the theme of continued development, trust and public well-being. BJP leaders and workers will connect directly with citizens to present what the party has described as a transparent record of the Modi government’s achievements.
The statewide awareness campaign will begin on World Environment Day and conclude on International Yoga Day. During the campaign period, the party plans to organize cleanliness drives, wellness camps and conferences under the Viksit Bharat initiative.
Party representatives will also interact with influential citizens and community members from all sectors to gather feedback and strengthen public engagement.
Environmental awareness and rural development will remain key focus areas during the campaign. The BJP plans to promote organic and natural farming practices among farmers through dedicated awareness programs.
As part of the celebrations, the party will also undertake a major plantation drive in 50,000 polling stations in Gujarat under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, combining environmental awareness and public participation.
The BJP said the campaign aimed to showcase the government’s development agenda while strengthening its ties with the people ahead of future political challenges.
