President Donald Trump made a striking statement during a recent White House news conference, telling those gathered that an unnamed new drug has the ability to bring patients back from death’s door.

The remarks appear to be related to the Right to Try Act, a law signed by Trump during his first administration that allows terminally ill patients to undergo treatments not yet fully approved.
