Jokowi goes to meet PSI executives, Djarot: the PDIP is strengthening.

Jakarta (ANTARA) – PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) DPP Chairman Djarot Saiful Hidayat said his party will become even stronger even though the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo plans to visit several regions to meet with cadres of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).
“With his visit to several regions, our party actually becomes stronger in building the party internally and becomes stronger in reaching out to the community,” Djarot said in North Jakarta on Saturday.
According to him, Jokowi’s planned visits to various regions will not affect the internal consolidation of the PDIP. On the contrary, it is considered that it can strengthen the spirit of party cadres.

Djarot also hopes that Jokowi will be able to provide an explanation regarding the controversy over the authenticity of diplomas which still concerns some.
“He is free to go anywhere. However, he must also be able to explain and show his diploma so that people are really sure of its authenticity. Just show the diploma,” he said.
Previously, Jokowi said he would visit a number of regions to respond to public invitations.
Initially, several areas that will be visited include Lampung, East Nusa Tenggara and West Java.

Jokowi explained that the visit also provided an opportunity to meet PSI volunteers and executives in the regions.
“I am in good health and I will respond to existing invitations. It is also to give motivation, meet the PSI in the regions and meet the volunteers in the regions because there are invitations,” he said.
When asked if the visit was related to preparations for the 2029 presidential election, Jokowi did not give a firm answer.
“Because there were invitations in the region,” he explained.
