Hasto: Indonesia has become a populist and authoritarian country since the Jokowi era
PDI Perjuangan SECRETARY General Hasto Kristiyanto said President Joko Widodo or Jokowi’s second term has transformed Indonesia into a populist authoritarian country.

“This is what happened in the 2024 elections, so at the national working meeting, PDI Perjuangan apologized to all the Indonesian people for the change in the nature of power due to the ambition of power,” said Hasto.

PDIP dismissed Jokowi, Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Bobby Nasution from their party membership on Monday, December 16, 2024.
