Putraundonews.com, Jakarta – Former President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo was not present at the Pancasila 2026 anniversary commemoration at the Pancasila Building, Jakarta.
The absence of the former President of the Republic of Indonesia for two terms finally attracted public attention.
Later, news appeared that the reason Jokowi did not attend this special moment due to an invitation.
Jokowi’s aide AKBP Syarif Muhammad Fitriansyah revealed that as of Monday (1/6) morning, his party had not received an official invitation to attend the ceremony held at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Complex, Central Jakarta.
“Until this morning, we had not received an invitation for Mr. Joko Widodo to attend the ceremony to commemorate the birth of Pancasila,” Syarif said in his statement.
Syarif added that no invitation had been received, whether in the form of an official letter or other communication. This is why Jokowi did not participate in the series of events commemorating the birth of Pancasila which took place on June 1, 2026.
