Differences of opinion between the Jokowi camp and Roy Suryo cs regarding the P21 diploma case at Polda Metro Jaya
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The camp of the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the camp of Roy Suryo cs have different opinions regarding P21 (files declared complete) in the case of Jokowi’s fake diploma charges at Polda Metro Jaya.
General Chairman of Jokman Nusantara Bersatu Andi Azwan defended Polda Metro Jaya regarding the status of P21 of the alleged defamation case related to Jokowi’s degree that was ongoing at Polda Metro Jaya.
“Regarding the P21 which was announced on June 2 by Polda Metro Jaya and which was transmitted in press conference “by Kombes Iman Imanuddin that P21 received a response,” he said on Friday (05/06/2026), as reported by a team of journalists KompasTV.
Andi stressed that the process of the case that ensnared Roy Suryo CS was still ongoing and there was no order to stop the investigation (SP3).
His party hopes that the suspects, namely Roy Suryo CS, can be arrested immediately.
According to Andi, the continuation of this matter will be an answer and confirmation regarding the authenticity of Jokowi’s diploma.
General Chairman of Jokman Nusantara Bersatu hopes that Polda Metro Jaya and the Prosecutor’s Office can immediately resolve the case of Jokowi’s fake diploma charges which have been going on for about a year.

On the other hand, Ro Suryo cs’s lawyer, Khozinudin, pointed out that his party had not received an official notification letter regarding the development of the status of the case file involving his client.
His party also questioned Kombes Iman Imanuddin’s previous statement.
“Because how can the second step be possible if there is no official letter from the prosecution indicating that the files are complete or P21?” he said to KompasTVFriday.
The Roy Suryo cs camp also suspects that there are political forces that are forcing this case to continue even though it is not yet formally and materially over.
Khozinudin mentioned the Jokowi camp’s insistence on asking the attorney general to immediately try the case involving his client.
He stressed that the law should operate according to evidence and procedures, and should not be subject to pressure, intimidation or threats.

Based on the latest information from the police, Dirreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Iman Imanuddin made a statement regarding the Roy Suryo cs case regarding Jokowi’s fake diploma allegations.
“Until today, we stated that the files we sent to the DKI Prosecutor’s Office do not need to be filled for the gaps we filled yesterday,” he said in Jakarta, Tuesday (2/6/2026), as reported KompasTV.
According to his statement, Polda Metro Jaya is coordinating the transfer of evidence and suspects in this case.
