Jakarta (ANTARA) – Suspect of slander and defamation regarding the authenticity of the diploma of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, Tifauziah Tyassuma (Tifa doctor) withdrew his pre-trial application regarding his search and arrest by Polda Metro Jaya investigators at the South Jakarta District Court (PN).
“We have decided to cancel the pre-trial motion,” Tifa told reporters in Jakarta on Thursday.
Tifa said the decision was made after she was granted a stay of detention and was not detained while legal proceedings were underway.
“We have submitted a pre-trial request. This takes into account the evolution of the situation where it was decided on June 21, 2026 that I was not detained during the trial,” he said.
According to him, from the beginning, he and Roy Suryo had prepared their own legal steps, although they continued to coordinate in handling this matter.
He and Roy Suryo now handle the cases separately, each therefore having to prepare their own team and their own legal strategy. “Our case is divided. Mas Roy Suryo is number 300, I am number 301,” he said.
For this reason, he continued, each party has a different legal assistance team to manage the ongoing legal process.
“That means we have to have our own team and our own strategy. But we continue to work together,” said Doctor Tifa.
The South Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari Jaksel) has not arrested suspects in alleged cases of slander and defamation regarding the authenticity of the diplomas of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Roy Suryo and Tifauzia Tyassuma (Tifa doctor).

Previously, information circulated from the Academic and Activist Anti-Criminalization Defense Team (TA-AKAA) which stated that on Friday (19/6) around 07:00 WIB, Roy Suryo Notodiprojo, reported by his wife, was arrested by Polda Metro Jaya investigators.
Meanwhile, Doctor Tifa’s Defense Team (TPDT) revealed that Doctor Tifa was arrested by the police in his apartment on Friday (19/6) morning around 06:47 WIB.
