Fadli Zon criticizes Jokowi over the anger of history ministers today, July 1, 2020

Today’s story, six years ago, July 1, 2020, Gerindra Party politician Fadli Zon criticized President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who reprimanded his ministers during the Paripurna Cabinet meeting. Fadli believed that Jokowi’s anger was actually a government flaw that could not function.

Previously, Jokowi was disappointed by his cabinet members who did not work optimally during the COVID-19 pandemic. His ministers were considered slow and insensitive to the situation of the Indonesian people.

“Don’t be ordinary. Don’t be linear. Don’t think it’s normal. It’s very dangerous. I see many of us still think it’s normal. I see many of us are still like ordinary people. I’m angry there. That’s what I feel,” Jokowi said as quoted by CNN Indonesia, June 18, 2020.

Jokowi’s anger then sparked numerous comments. Many praised it. Many also see Jokowi’s anger as a problem. The story was then revealed by Fadli Zon on July 1, 2020.

Fadli criticized Jokowi who was angry with his ministers. Fadli considered this approach a farce. A farce for Jokowi to free himself from his responsibilities.

Fadli considers that the work of ministers is often determined by the quality of Jokowi’s leadership. If leadership is bad, results are bad. This condition also makes Fadli reveal that in the future, if there are people who think Jokowi is out of the woods, there is no need to get angry.
