Joko Widodo holds political safari in East Nusa Tenggara
The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), is expected to continue his series of political safaris in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province after making his first visit to Lampung province. The planned visit to the region was confirmed by the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) as the second location of the former president’s planned trip to Indonesia, as reported by Detikcom on Thursday (2/7/2026). PSI DPP Chairman Bestari Barus explained the reasons for choosing this province as a priority point in a series of political safaris.
“Pak Jokowi likes NTT, since his term in office he has done a lot of work in NTT,” said PSI DPP Chairman Bestari Barus in a short message, Thursday (2/7/2026).
Although the certainty of NTT’s departure date was not announced in detail, Bestari confirmed that the region will officially become the second destination before continuing the journey to West Java. “NTT and (next) West Java (West Java),” said Bestari.
