Not just Lampung! Jokowi to visit Central Java from Solo
Jakarta, tvOnenews.com – Not only Lampung, the former 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), would continue his political safari by holding a roadshow to various regions of Central Java Province (Central Java) soon.
This program would be a continuation of a series of political visits with the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) that had previously taken place in Lampung province.
As part of this activity, Jokowi would greet people in a number of regions and introduce and promote the PSI which is now led by his son, Kaesang Pangarep.
However, so far the schedule and areas to be visited have not yet been decided.
In this case, the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of PSI Central Java is still conducting internal discussions regarding the implementation of the roadshow.
Chairman of the Central Java DPW PSI Antonius Yogo Prabowo confirmed that plans for Jokowi’s visit were still being finalized.
“We are still discussing it, we are waiting,” Yogo explained during his confirmation by short message, Monday (6/7/2026).
According to him, the Central Java DPW PSI is still preparing areas that will later be included in Jokowi’s visit program during his stay in the province.
Jokowi’s tour plans in Central Java emerged after the former President of the Republic of Indonesia participated in a political safari with the PSI in Lampung in late June 2026.
At that time, Jokowi attended the Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda) of the DPD PSI in Bandar Lampung City.
Jokowi’s presence was enthusiastically received by PSI executives, volunteers and the public who gathered at the event venue.
Aside from attending the Rakorda, Jokowi also visited the market, greeted MSME stakeholders and received a traditional honorary title from the Lampung Pepadun community.
The roadshow in Lampung is considered the beginning of Jokowi’s increased political activity in various regions after the end of his term as President of the Republic of Indonesia. (aag)
