Singer S Janaki dies at 88; PM Modi calls loss irreparable

Earlier on July 11, famous playback singer S Janaki, fondly called the ‘Nightingale of South India’, passed away at Apollo Hospital in Mysuru after suffering from age-related health complications. She was 88 years old.
