More BSU hockey players are entering the transfer portal
The college hockey season may be over, but the revolving door that is the transfer portal continues to turn. This week saw a little more movement for both the men's and women's teams at Bemidji State.
On Monday, Logan Acheson entered the transfer portal. The second-year defenseman played in 28 games for the Beavs this season, collecting four total points with two goals and two assists.
Later in the week, junior goaltender Abbie Thompson was also expected to enter the portal. She saw ice time in 20 games this year, allowing just over five goals per game with a save percentage of .867.
Acheson is the fourth Beaver on the men's side to leave, but they have added two players from the portal, including Niagara University's leading scorer, senior forward Carter Randklev.
On the women's side, Thompson is the third player to head into the portal and the second goalkeeper to do so. On the other hand, Penn State senior goalkeeper Josie Bothun is still the only player leaving the portal.
