Women’s tennis duo earns CSC Academic All-District Honors
This year marks the second CSC Academic All-District honor for Elvestrom, while Schwartz receives the recognition for the first time in her career.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Women’s Tennis Team, selected by CSC, recognized the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined achievements on the courts and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program recognized tennis honorees individually in four divisions, NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and the NAIA. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are indicated by an asterisk and advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. The Academic All-America® first, second and third team winners will be announced in late May.
Elvestrom earned her second CSC Academic All-District honor and graduated from Creighton with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, with a GPA of 3.92. Elvestrom is a six-time member of the Creighton Honor Roll and has earned ITA Scholar-Athlete and BIG EAST All-Academic Team honors three times.
On the court, the Wayzata, Minnesota native led the Bluejays with 20 wins this season, including 12 wins in singles, mostly over the No. 4 and No. 5 singles positions. In addition, Elvestrom also collaborated with Olivia Minikel, Karlie Vo And Livia Rodrigues Daud for eight doubles victories. Overall, Elvestrom finished her career with a total of 98 wins, ranked 17theall-time with 55 singles victories.
Schwartz finished her freshman season with the Bluejays with a cumulative GPA of 3.96 while studying accounting. On the field, Schwartz finished the 2026 season with Second Team All-BIG EAST honors. Playing at the top position in singles and doubles, Schwartz combined for 17 victories, including a team-high 10 doubles victories.
Academic status:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
- Student-athletes must be enrolled at their institution as an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of nomination. Only the school where an athlete competed in the current school year can nominate that player.
- Student-athletes who graduated from their home institution during the current academic year and are not participating in athletics at another institution at the time of nomination are eligible.
- An undergraduate student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale).
- A graduate student-athlete must have at least a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale as both an undergraduate and graduate student, unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and do not have an established graduate GPA.
- The cumulative grade point average may not be rounded up to 3.50.

- M/F Tennis: Eligible nominees must be in the lineup for 70% of the total matches played by the team, including team scores.
