The PUBG 12.2 patch adds a new map called Taego that is the same size as the first map. Players can now play new maps in solo mode or team mode. In particular, there are no red zones or bad weather.

The map itself has some unique features, such as gunshot-responsive landmarks and wildlife. However, its most unique elements are all gameplay-centric, including the comeback mechanism mentioned above and new self-recovery items.

Players who die while playing in Taego during the first blue zone phase of the game will be transferred to the Comeback Arena, another area where survivors can fight. Those who have lived long enough in this arena will be returned to the main map during the third phase of the Blue Zone. Unlike Warzone, this feature is only available when playing a squad, and it’s worth noting that leaving the solo player in the cold.

Solo players looking for a second chance are lucky and need to come across a self-AED. This new item allows knocked out players to revive themselves and is available in both solo and team games.
